Also, the horse may slightly lift the bit in its mouth by stretching the tongue in order to evade too strong pressure from the rein aids in the short term. This bit is Single jointed where the joint has been angled forward by 45° in order to guarantee an even distribution of pressure on both sides of the tongue. Good for horses with tongue voices and horses who tilt their head to one side.
